I wish I could do anything I want.
I wish all I did were fun.
What if I could walk away from a responsibility knowing someone else will take up the slack.
The reality is that I must admit things.
I’ve been assigned a calling.
I must continue to work it until the calling is complete.
I can’t expect someone else to do my calling for me.
I can’t just do what I want to do and expect my responsibilities to be completed by someone else.
“If you accept your calling then do it. Don’t expect it to be there tomorrow. You may look around one day and find it gone. Possibly, when you thought someone else would do it while you played someone else has it now. You’re left out of the blessing.”
When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required. - Jesus
